his tradition and it is called The Hearth of Man and the Morning
Star sweat lodge - it has an unbroken history / lineage going
back thousands of years. He is teaching me the traditional
songs and ceremony."
John O’Sullivan (aka Rupti to friends) is co-owner and
founder of the Champlain’s Wellness Centre. Rupti and his
beloved wife Seersha share a vision of Love, Life and
Laughter for this Life Time on This Planet. Champlain’s Well is
Central to this vision.
Rupti is a Neo-Sanyassin having sat at the feet of his Master
Shree Rajneesh Bhagwan in Pune India 1979. (later known as
Osho). Rupti is short for for Swami Svarupdas (meaning
‘Servant of the Self’ ) Rupti worked at the Pune Ashram in
India, and joined in celebration with the commune in Oregon
USA, Germany and Australia. Trained as Master Magi of
Tarot in India with (Italian) Bodhi and in Germany with Pagal;
developing a unique blend of Mystery - Tarot Theatre and the
Mystical Magic Carpet Ride.

In Rupti’s own words I am:
“…. A Free Horse ex - Tipi
dweller and member of the
original Polytantric
Stonehenge Free festival
Crew - from the early
nineteen hundred and
seventies. I love to
experience the dance, I
enjoy the play, I meditate
without rules, I love
Kundalini meditation, I am
a shaker and music
maker, have several
drums, enjoy ecstatic
drumming. I have
drummed and trance
danced in Goa and
California - on the east
coast and the west coast -
to the sunrise and the
sunset and in between. I
am an intuitive workshop
leader, I work with the
Tao. I work with wood.
When I have time I am a colourist and love doodling. Pastels
are a pleasure. In my youth I toyed with being an artist. I
strum a little guitar …one day I’ll get ‘Here’. I love being a
spontaneous teacher, mentor and guide. My greatest gift has
been parenting three wonderfully creative boys to meaningful
manhood. My hobby is Permaculture design and growing
organic plants in my polytunnel. If the weather is right its time
to go for a sail on my classic wooden yacht ‘Malimbe’. She is
a sweet little 28’ SCOD 1960’s design and is moored nearby
in Sandwich.
I am a qualified TEFL teacher. I used this particular skill
during my ‘ex pat’ period working overseas. On an emotional
and psychic level I am currently exploring the path offered by
Chuck Spezzano with his Psychology of Vision and I am fully
supporting Seersha in her Steps to Leadership Work. In
between times I have a successful professional services
practice as a consultant Quantity Surveyor in the Built
environment, Infrastructure, Architectural and Property
development sector. My style is best described as promoting
awareness within collaborative partnership and creating
effective agreement. So far I feel that I have not over
exploited my Midas touch and I am so grateful to experience
my vision expanding in exciting ways with every new day.
Amongst other things I offer a space at Champlain’s Well for a
nice cup of coffee at our café tables, in a beautiful 17th
century courtyard garden setting - for a friendly chat or a
Tarot reading. Or take part in a Tarot Theatre workshop.
Enjoy!"
